The definition of art has been quite fluid in the last century. For some, art may be a painting on a wall, a piece of work to differentiate a business, or even a portal to its owner's soul, uniquely deciphering his personality.
Then again, who knows? The value of art is in the eyes of the beholder...
ArtBTG seeks to help clients discover their true identity and works to curate spaces where each piece interacts with others to form a continuum. We combine creativity with discipline to provide an intimate insight into all disciplines of fine art through a specialized network of artists and international galleries.
Banu Gundogdu founded ArtBTG in 2009 to convey her passion and excitement for different disciplines of art to a wider audience. She introduced Turkish art to private and institutional clients in the Middle East, worked in Europe organizing exhibitions in Paris, London, and Stockholm, and worked with several institutional clients in Europe, the Middle East, Russia, and Turkey.
Banu was a private banker prior to setting up ArtBTG and worked with institutions such as Merrill Lynch and Citibank across different geographies globally, she currently works and lives out of Dubai, Istanbul, and Amsterdam with her family.

Curatorial
ArtBTG curates diverse contemporary exhibitions through an extensive network of international artists and galleries. Our curatorial process is a tailor-made service, including research, conceptualization, budgeting, selection of artists and works, consignment and contract arrangements, logistics, installation, and public relations.

CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT Our business is to tell stories through art, and we use art to bring the space alive. Our perceptions are created of visuals and our aim is to create lasting impressions on the viewers of the curated spaces. As such, we take time to thoroughly understand the vision and expectations of the brand we work with to develop or support the brand identity.
SPECIFICATIONS We document all necessary details pertaining the artwork (and accessories) including the image, medium, dimensions, framing, and all necessary features that uniquely identify each piece of art and accessory.
PRODUCTION AND INSTALLATION We assist our client for agreements with the artist and the tender process, if any. We oversee the production phase, present the client with “work in progress images”, ensure the quality of prints, framing and accessories. Our experienced installation team work closely to ensure that all pieces are delivered safely and positioned with the correct methods, and with the artist presence most of the time.
We finalize the work by preparing a comprehensive portfolio of selected artwork and accessories so that clients can inform their guest if and when needed.
